Lana is the author of Dark Wave, which won the Viva la Novella prize. She works part-time managing marketing for literary organisation Writers SA, and freelances for interesting brands and organisations across cultural and creative topics. She lives in Adelaide, Australia.
Her award-winning fiction has appeared in Going Down Swinging, Anthology of Australasian Stories, and the Swinburne Microfiction award. She also edited Wake, an anthology of poetry and short stories, and has written for The Guardian, Yen magazine, Junkee, The Adelaide Review, and Right Angle Studios among others.
She works with selected organisations across editorial, marketing, and content direction in the creative and cultural space; past clients include Etsy, Ecoya, the Museum of Discovery (MOD.), and Sydney Writers’ Festival.
After graduating from the University of South Australia with a degree in Creative Writing, Lana followed a career as a content editor for global brands, including as Senior Editor at ASOS Australia, before returning to her hometown. She is currently working on her second book.
